About this calculator

The Ocular Hypertension Treatment Study (OHTS) calculator estimates the chance that a person with ocular hypertension, meaning higher eye pressure without glaucoma damage, develops primary open-angle glaucoma within five years.

What you need

What the result can and cannot tell you

The official page sets out its testing methods and eligible ranges, including age 30 to 80 years, untreated eye pressure 20 to 32 mmHg and corneal thickness 475 to 650 µm. It applies to people with ocular hypertension who do not have glaucoma, and it does not estimate how established glaucoma will progress. Washington University limits redistribution of its files, so we link to the official version.
