Eye pressure reduction

How much has my eye pressure come down, and how close is it to my target?

About this calculator

Enter your baseline and current eye pressure to see the change in mmHg and as a percentage, and how the current reading compares with the target your eye doctor set.

What you need

How it is calculated

Reduction = baseline − current. Percentage reduction = 100 × reduction ÷ baseline. Target difference = current − target. Values are calculated at full precision and rounded only for display.

What the result can and cannot tell you

Eye pressure is one part of glaucoma care. A lower number on its own does not show that glaucoma is stable; your eye doctor also follows the optic nerve and visual field, and sets each eye’s target from your clinical picture.
