Clinical consultation at Netra Eye Institute

Referring Doctors

A straightforward referral process for you and your patients — with clear communication back to you.

Referring a patient to Netra Eye Institute

Thank you for considering Netra Eye Institute for your patient. Our goal is a simple, seamless referral process, and a clear line of communication back to you. We work as a partner in your patient’s care and will keep you informed of our assessment and treatment plan.

Netra Restoration Therapy is designed to complement conventional ophthalmic management, not to replace it. We ask every patient to continue the diagnosis, monitoring, medication, and procedures you have recommended.

What happens after you refer

  • A patient care representative contacts your patient to schedule their consultation.
  • Your patient receives a comprehensive integrative assessment based on Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic Medicine.
  • You receive a summary of our assessment and the proposed treatment plan.
  • We remain available to you for questions throughout the course of care.

Which patients tend to benefit

We most often see patients with chronic, progressive conditions where conventional management is in place but vision continues to change — glaucoma including normal-tension glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, inherited retinal dystrophies, optic neuropathies, keratoconus and corneal ectasia, and chronic dry eye.

Our clinical reasoning is set out in the science behind NRT, and the full condition list is on Conditions We Treat.
