Treatment is delivered in courses. One course is seven days of therapy, so a course is about $2,450 before any discount, or from roughly $1,225 at the maximum sliding scale discount.
There is no single program price, because the number of courses differs enormously between patients. Some conditions need one course. Others need four. That is decided at your consultation, not before.
NRT is structured in three steps. Only the first is a course of treatment everyone begins with. Steps 2 and 3 are optional, and whether they are worth doing depends heavily on whether your condition is degenerative or genetic.

Medical financing is accepted, including plans with promotional interest-free periods. Terms, eligibility and any fees are set by the finance provider, not by Netra.
See financing options ›Netra Restoration Therapy is not covered by medical insurance. Integrative and complementary eye care of this kind sits outside what commercial plans and Medicare reimburse. Netra does not bill insurance for treatment and does not submit claims on your behalf.
Two things are worth knowing anyway. Some plans reimburse acupuncture performed by a licensed practitioner under a separate benefit — if that applies to you, ask our team what documentation we can provide for you to submit yourself. And your conventional eye care continues to be billed to your insurance as normal, because NRT runs alongside it rather than replacing it.
A full candidacy review plus complete modern eye testing to establish your baseline measurements. You keep those results whether or not you go on to treatment.
Because the number of courses is a clinical decision. Some conditions respond to a single course; others need four. Until someone has reviewed your diagnosis and your baseline testing, a total would be a guess. What we can tell you upfront is the session price, the course price, and that Step 1 runs 1 to 4 courses.
No. Step 1 is the course of treatment everyone begins with. Steps 2 and 3 are optional. They are recommended for degenerative and genetic conditions, where the underlying process continues after the initial course, but the decision is yours and it can be made later.
It is a practical question rather than a clinical one. If you live locally or can commute without difficulty, the monthly schedule spreads treatment more evenly. If you are travelling any distance or flying in, the quarterly schedule pairs two courses back to back so you make four trips a year instead of thirteen. Your clinician will tell you if there is a reason to prefer one for your condition specifically.

Netra does not bill insurance and does not expect the treatment to be covered. Your regular ophthalmology care is unaffected and continues to be billed as usual.
No. Herbal formulations and nutritional supplements are billed separately. You are never required to buy them from Netra.
$160 covers the candidacy review and complete baseline eye testing. You leave knowing whether NRT is appropriate for your condition, how many courses would be recommended, and exactly what that would cost for you.
