Meet the Founder and Director

Dr. Saikumar Gandapodi is the founder and director of Netra EyeInstitute, where he leads an integrative approach to vision care. He holds a Masters in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science and a Doctoral degree from Five Branches University, reflecting his rigorous training in evidence-informed traditional medicine.

In addition to his academic background, Dr. Gandapodi received advanced clinical training in India, where he worked with hospitals specializing in ocular diagnostics and gained hands-on experience using modern ophthalmic imaging and diagnostic technologies. This blend of contemporary ophthalmic diagnostics and traditional medical sciences led to the development of Netra Restoration Therapy (NRT)—a physiology-based eye-care program focused on improving ocular blood flow, strengthening neuroretinal resilience, regulating inflammation, and reducing oxidative stress. Through NRT, Dr. Gandapodi is committed to offering patients a science-guided, holistic pathway to long-term retinal and optic nerve health.
