The condition
Uveitis is inflammation of the uvea - the eye's middle, blood-vessel-rich layer - and it can involve the front of the eye, the back, or everything at once (panuveitis). Choroiditis, retinal vasculitis, APMPPE and the white dot syndromes are related inflammatory patterns. Flares are treated medically and urgently; the pattern of recurrence is where deeper questions live.

Can NRT treat an active uveitis flare?
No. An active flare needs urgent treatment from your ophthalmologist - typically steroids, sometimes more. NRT is for the quiet periods: supporting immune balance and overall health between episodes, in coordination with your specialists.
Why does my uveitis keep coming back?
Recurrent uveitis can be linked to systemic conditions (like HLA-B27-associated disease, sarcoidosis or autoimmune disorders), infections, or no identifiable cause. A thorough specialist work-up matters; so does an honest look at sleep, stress and gut health as modifiable background factors.
How is NRT different from conventional treatment?
Specialist care is essential for diagnosis, retinal monitoring, genetic counseling and access to legitimate clinical trials. NRT is an adjunctive program that considers nutrition safety, daily visual function and whole-person factors alongside that care—it does not replace it.
Can NRT cure uveitis?

Should I stop my steroids or immunotherapy?
