You can wear any dress which has easy access up to the elbows and knees. Do not wear any tight fit dresses which can impair circulation.
If you feel cold during the session we will be glad to cover you with a blanket to keep you warm during the acupuncture session.

Please avoid wearing colognes, perfumes or other fragrances. We have many patients who are sensitive or allergic to these scents.  

It is highly recommended to have some food before your acupuncture session and not come in hungry or during fasting. This will prevent you from getting dizzy or light-headed.

You would have to complete the entire course of your treatment as determined by the doctor before you start to see improvements.

No. Acupuncture needles are about as thick as a human hair. In fact, about 35 acupuncture needles can be fit into a hypodermic needle (the needle used for blood tests). You may feel a brief prick at the insertion site or you may feel nothing at all when the needles are inserted. This is all followed by a dull, heavy sensation that can be very calming. Patients are often surprised how relaxing an acupuncture treatment is. In fact, many patients actually fall asleep on the table during a treatment.

Yes, we do treat children . Our clinic will see children for treatments ages 6 and older. We ask that all minors be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for their treatment.

We do not accept any insurance. However we can provide you with a super bill if you wish to submit to reimburse with your insurance for your acupuncture treatments.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, HSA and FSA cards, as well as cash and checks.

Yes we do. Acupuncture is a covered service for HSA/FSA plans.

All no-shows and cancellations incur the full appointment fee.
We request you to call in to cancel appointments if you cannot make it to make the slot available for patients in wait list.
